Agriculture Secretary William Dar, through the Department of Agriculture – Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (DA-AMAS), launched the Kadiwa Agribiz Portal on October 6, 2020. He welcomed DA’s new partners and stressed the importance of positive customer experience. He added that the products available in the portal must be of top quality and affordable to ensure that clients are happy with what they’ve ordered.
According to DA-AMAS OIC-Director Ramon Yedra, the Kadiwa Agribiz Portal was developed to facilitate the market linkage efforts of DA. Interested agri-fishery enterprises that are engaged in the production, processing, trading, marketing, and distribution of agricultural and fishery commodities/products can register and be part of its growing number of registrants from all over the Philippines. Once part of the system, users can access buyers’ and suppliers’ information. They can also promote products and enterprise for free, having direct linkage with all participating suppliers and buyers, an expanded business network, and an opportunity to access to other DA programs and services.
To date, there are 285 registrants at the time of portal launch.
