With the arrival of the tunnel boring machine meant ro dig the tunnels for the Metro Manila subway, the vital project is now underway, easing concerns that viral transport infrastructure has not begun construction.
This likewise raises the question of whether all the railway projects in Metro Manila and the surrounding provinces are meant to create an interconnected rail system.
According to Philippine National Railways (PNR) General Manager Junn Magno, a 147-kilometer mass transit railway system is expected to bring more jobs and business opportunities in Clark, Calamba, and destinations in between.
GM Magno added that it will also provide a safe, convenient and efficient transport system for Filipino commuters from Central Luzon to CALABARZON.
" This is indeed a project that will usher in the Philippines’ `Golden Age of Infrastructure,` and that will deliver our President`s promise of a more comfortable life to every Filipino, " he said in a statement.
