In a graph prepared by web publication Agrination.ph using official Data from the Philippine Statistics Authority, Japan has emerged as the philippines top destination for exports with a total value of 12 billion dollars. The trend began in 2010, when it overtook the US. From 2010 to 2016, the top destinations for exports were Asian countries including China, Hongkong and Singapore. Exports to Japan include bananas and electronic parts.
Combining export figures for China and Hongkong , however, the figures in 2015 and 2016 are slightly higher than Japan.
