SWS: joblessness, crime victimization down

In separate releases last week, Manila based polling group Social Weather Stations (SWS) revealed the results of its second quarter surveys on crime victimization (https://www.sws.org.ph/swsmain/artcldisppage/?artcsyscode=ART-20180920001427) and joblessness (https://www.sws.org.ph/swsmain/artcldisppage/?artcsyscode=ART-20180917150646).

Compared to the first quarter survey both show reduced crime victimization (6.6 down to 5.3%)and joblessness (21.6 down to 19.7%) in the second quarter in their latest results released last week.

The SWS survey on joblessness tracks the latest unemployment figures from government showing that a decrease in the unemployed from March.
